Mission Statement

At the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM), we are committed to maintaining and further improving our leadership in the field of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medical education. As a result we:

• Provide the highest quality of education in Acupuncture & TCM which complies with both Chinese and International standards to students who have a sincere interest in becoming highly qualified health care providers. We are internationally acclaimed by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, one of the largest and most recognized Chinese Medicine universities in the world.
• Provide enhanced continuing education programs to health care professionals who wish to integrate and upgrade their skills to ensure quality TCM health care services are available to the general public.
• Enable all graduates to succeed as primary health care providers using the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and to become an integral part of the modern health care system.
