Neck and Shoulder Pain

Today, one of the most common acupuncture applications is to help with pain, and we have many enquiries about neck and shoulder pain. Especially from people who sit at a desk all day.

Beside continuous and repetitive local stresses, neck and shoulder pain can be caused by a variety of other pathologies such as strain, trauma and soft tissue injuries.

So, what differs acupuncture from other therapies?

At our College Clinic, we access the whole body to find the optimized treatment for each individual patient. Emotional, mechanical and internal factors will be examined along with the meridian system. Energy balancing methods will also be accessed. Since our body is integrated by a series of channels, the location of pain and stiff muscles often block the meridians that go through the region. Locating key points to help generate the open flow of energy will promote the healing process immediately.
