At the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, we are proud of our unrivalled 100% Licensing Exam passing rate over our fourteen-years history. We remain determined to continue our position as the leader in the field.
Our exclusive relationship with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine enables our students to access elite academic materials and support. We are one of a few international schools accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which has further distinguished us from others.

About Dr. Benny Xu
Dr. Benny Xu has been actively involved in the development of acupuncture in Alberta since 1992, and was a key member in lobbying TCM regulations from 2002-2006.
In 2002, Dr. Xu led the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to form an exclusive partnership, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine offered through the joint venture with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
In 2005, Dr. Xu was honoured with the Alberta Centennial Medal for his significant contribution in TCM and Acupuncture education in Alberta.
Dr. Xu has served as a member of Acupuncture Committee; President of the Alberta Association of Acupuncturists and Chinese Medical Doctors; Vice President of Alberta Traditional Chinese Medical Science & Acupuncture Association; and is currently on the the Advisory Committee of the Mount Royal University Integrated Health Institute.
