Introduction - Distance Learning
Distance Learning courses are designed to assisting students grasp the knowledge without going to the actual classrooms.
These couses are suitable for students who are seeking quality education but have time constraints and are unable to attend classes. Further studies are also possible.
This is not an ordinary distance learning experience, it has incorporated the latest Interactive Visual Learning technology, and the followings are some highlights of our Distance Learning programs:
- Interactive class modules making each class interesting and easy to learn
- Sequential interactive self-testing reviews to keep students' focus and maintain correct learning direction
- Streaming and downloadable instructional videos to enrich students' study resources
- Online forums to simulate a classroom setting with assigned teachers and fellow students
- Full-screen computer view option for optimum use of monitor size
- User friendly computer interface and a navigational system that takes very little time to learn
- Multimedia elements for illustration and demonstration
- Technical support teams enabling everyone to take advantage of our modern technology
Quizzes and Exams
All quizzes and exams are conducted online in real-time. Students must complete their quizzes and exams within the required time limit.
In the event that students are unable to take quizzes and exams online, students must schedule a time to take these exams in person or at an approved location with supervision.
An approved examination environment can be any educational institute or professional office. The exams will be mailed to the approved examination supervisor who will then administer the test at an arranged time. The supervisor will ensure the exam is kept sealed until the exam time. Upon completion of the exam, the tests will be sealed and sent back to the school.
Labs, Clinical Observations & Internships
No labs or any clinical studies are offered through distance, they must be completed with at ACATCM or the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
Course Extension
If an extension is required, the instructor must be notified in advance. There is no charge for the first 4 weeks of extension. After the first 4 weeks there is a charge of $25.00 per week of extension.

Besides the main location in Calgary, Alberta, we are preparing to open training centre in all major cities in Canada, including Vancouver, BC; Toronto, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec, etc.
