Bulang 步廊

English translation:

Walking Corridor

Location:

On the chest, in the 5th intercostal space, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

Indications:

Cough, asthma, distension and fullness in the chest and hypochondriac region, vomiting, anorexia.

Functions:

Opens the chest, descends rebellious Lung and Stomach Qi, stops cough.

Needling:

Oblique or subcutaneous insertion .5 - .8 cun. These points on the chest should not be inserted deeply to avoid injuring the heart and lungs.
