English translation:

Qi Cave

Location:

On the lower abdomen, 3 cun below the center of the umbilicus, .5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

Classification:

Crossing point of the KID Meridian and the Chong Vessel. Point of the Penetrating Vessel

Indications:

Irregular menstruation, dysnmenorrhea, dysuria, abdominal pain, diarrhea.

Functions:

Tonifies Kidney Qi, regulates the Lower Jiao, regulates the Ren and Chong Vessels.

Needling:

Perpendicular insertion 1.0 - 1.5 cun.
