Jugu 巨骨

English translation:

Great Bone

Location:

Straight seat with shoulder dropped, on posterior border of acromioclavicular joint, between furcula which formed by clavicle and spine of scapula.

Classification:

Crossing point of the LI Meridian and the Yang Qiao Vessel.

Indications:

Pain of the shoulder and back Motor impairment of the upper extremities

Functions:

Activates the meridian, alleviates pain, moves Qi and Blood, benefits the shoulder.

Needling:

Perpendicular or slightly oblique laterally downwards insertion .5 - 1.0 cun.
