Joint Venture with the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
In 2002, the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM) and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) established a exclusive formal relationship in agreement with numerous programs.
Being affiliated with the most prestigious university in TCM education, students at ACATCM have the opportunity to benefit from quality programs that have trained thousands of highly skilled TCM doctors. Our students will also have the opportunity to receive additional certificates, diplomas, and degrees from BUCM.
In 2005, ACATCM has been established as the Canadian Education Centre of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (CBUCM) . This significant establishment will bring more quality programs to our prospective students in the near future.
Beginning in the 2005-2006 calendar year the Centre will be offering the following diploma programs, available on-campus and via Distance Learning:
As the first group of our students will start their internship in BUCM in the spring of 2006, there will also be more programs offered through the joint venture this fall and others are well under development, our dedication to our students' future continues.
