Chinese Name:

Tiaokou 条口

English translation:

Narrow Opening

Location:

On the anterior aspect of the lower leg, 8 cun below ST 35, one finger-breadth (middle finger) from the anterior crest of the tibia.

Indications:

Paralysis of leg (Wei syndrome), frozen shoulder (Bi syndrome), stomach pain, calf cramps, enteritis.

Functions:

Activates the meridians, removes meridian obstructions, relieves pain.

Needling:

Perpendicular insertion 1.0 - 1.5 cun
