Today, on International Women’s Day, ACATCM would like to extend our warmest wishes to all the incredible women out there. We celebrate your strength, resilience, and achievements, and we recognize the invaluable contributions that you make to society every day.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Choose to Challenge,” which calls on all of us to challenge gender bias and inequality and to create a more inclusive world. As a leading institution in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine education, ACATCM is committed to empowering women with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

We recognize that women face unique health challenges, which is why we are proud to offer ongoing clinical research programs such as the Alberta Society Health Integration Project (ABSHIP). This study aims to help women between the ages of 14 and 55 who suffer from pain or mental health issues with Complementary and Alternative Medicine interventions such as acupuncture and mind-body exercises.

Through our acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine programs, specialized courses, and continuing education opportunities, we offer a wide range of educational resources that can help women take charge of their health and careers. Our programs are designed to provide students with the resources and support they need to achieve optimal career, health, and well-being.

On this special day, let us all commit to supporting and uplifting the women in our lives. Together, we can create a brighter, more equitable future for all. Happy International Women’s Day!

Sincerely,

Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
