The second destination is the city of Tian Jin.
In the morning, the group visited Beijing Temages Pharmaceutical Co., LTD, where they were introduced to a TCM cultured exhibition, and learned about the research and develop the Traditional Chinese Medicine granules from the professionals. In the afternoon, the group was invited for observation and meets at the head office of Beijing Temages Pharmaceutical Co., LTD, which is Tianjin Chase Sun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Gongliang Yang, the director of TCM appropriate Technology Promotion Base of Canada, and the vice-director of Sino North American Partnership for Traditional Chinese Medicine (SNAPTCM) delivered a presentation about “The Challenges and Opportunities of SNAPTCM”. He brought up the challenges of the development of TCM in Canada, along with the TCM industry environment, a marketing analysis, and the possible prospects, etc. Tianjin Chase Sun pharmaceutical group has developed a set of processes and quality standards of traditional Chinese medicine granules that leads the industry. The delegation visited the production center for TCM herbal granules and toured the automated production line.
Our delegation and the leadership of Tianjin Chase Sun pharmaceutical group had exchanged perspectives on the development of Chinese medicine enterprises in Canada, research manufacturing of Chinese medicine. We invited the Tianjin Chase Sun pharmaceutical group to visit Canada. Both sides expressed the intention for further cooperation and discussion.
