Dr. Eman Yaqoub is the esteemed Director of Bioscience at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM). A highly accomplished medical doctor, Dr. Yaqoub earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the renowned University of Alexandria in 1995, followed by a master’s degree in Internal Medicine. Her academic journey began as an internal medicine specialist, where she discovered a passion for education while teaching medical and dental students.
With over two decades of medical practice spanning three countries, Dr. Yaqoub has cultivated a wealth of expertise in diverse healthcare environments. Her impressive career includes participation in numerous medical conferences and leadership roles in national health campaigns, addressing critical health challenges on a global scale. These experiences have profoundly influenced her commitment to fostering holistic and integrative medical practices.
As the Director of Bioscience at ACATCM, Dr. Yaqoub bridges modern biomedical sciences with the enduring principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
