On December 4th, 2019, ACATCM welcomed a delegation of Chinese Medicine experts from the Jiangxi University of TCM to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Under the leadership of the JXUTCM President Zuo Qingyun, the team toured the ACATCM facilities and provided groundbreaking lectures to ACATCM faculty, students, alumni, and administrative staff. This event finalized the official collaboration between ACATCM and JXUTCM and marked the establishment of the first-ever North American branch of the JXUTCM Moxibustion Hospital.

The visit also paved the way for exchange programs between the two institutions involving faculty and students. In addition, blueprints for both Acupuncture and TCM degree programs were cross-examined in preparation for being offered to students in Canada through ACATCM.
