ACATCM, a newly approved degree-granting institution in Alberta, invites applications for faculty positions in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to support the delivery of its Bachelor of Acupuncture program.

These roles are suited for experienced practitioners and educators who are interested in contributing to a structured academic and clinical training environment.

Role Overview

Faculty members will contribute to both academic instruction and clinical training, supporting student development within a professional degree program. Teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on faculty expertise and program needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across a range of courses in acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, and related clinical and foundational subjects, based on faculty expertise and program needs
• Support clinical training and supervision of students in a teaching clinic environment (where applicable)
• Contribute to course delivery and curriculum implementation within a structured program
• Participate in academic and clinical discussions to support student learning and development

Qualifications

• Registered acupuncturist (or eligible for registration in Alberta)
• Master’s degree or higher in acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or a related field
• Strong clinical experience in acupuncture practice

Appointment

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Teaching and/or clinical supervision responsibilities depending on experience
• Flexible teaching assignments aligned with faculty expertise
