ACATCM, a newly approved degree-granting institution in Alberta, invites applications for a 0.5 FTE Academic Lead — Curriculum and Program Development to support the implementation of its Bachelor of Acupuncture program.
This role is suited for an experienced academic with a background in undergraduate curriculum design and program development, particularly within health-related or professional education.
Role Overview
The Academic Lead will provide academic leadership in the design, implementation, and ongoing development of the undergraduate curriculum. The role focuses on ensuring program coherence, alignment of learning outcomes, and integration across courses within a structured degree program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in undergraduate curriculum design and implementation
- Support development of program structure, course sequencing, and learning outcomes
- Contribute to academic standards and program-level coherence
- Work collaboratively with faculty to support curriculum delivery and refinement
- Participate in ongoing curriculum review and academic development processes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher
- Experience in undergraduate curriculum development
- Experience in academic program design, curriculum implementation, or academic leadership roles
- Experience in health-related or professional education is preferred

- Appointment: 0.5 FTE
- Location: Flexible / hybrid arrangements may be considered
- This is a formal academic appointment with defined responsibilities in curriculum leadership
