Heat Sensitive Transmitting Moxibustion

Heat Sensitive Transmitting Moxibustion is a new and innovative system of Moxibustion developed by Dr. Rixin Chen. It involves the use of lit moxa sticks to select thermally sensitive points which are then treated in a more involved way. This method of selecting points allows treatments to be very individualized. During the treatment phase other moxibustion techniques are applied to these thermally sensitive points until the ‘Warming Sensation’ is propagated to different areas – often with remarkable results.

Heat Sensitive Transmitting Moxibustiontherapy has broad indications ranging from musculo-skeletal problems, to internal medicine, and even cosmetic uses. It is effective, easy to learn and free from side effects. Moxa is widely available, inexpensive and safe, and Dr. Chen’s system is widely recognized and used throughout China.
