Classification:
Shu-Stream point of the Urinary Bladder Meridian
Indications:
Mania, headache, neck rigidity, blurring of vision, backache, pain in the lower extremities.
Functions:
Clears Heat, dispels Wind, relaxes the sinews, activates the meridian, alleviates pain.
Notes:
Shu-Stream points are where the qi starts to pour down the meridian. They are known to alleviate heaviness and pain in the joints.
Needling:
Perpendicular insertion .3 - .5 cun.
