Indications:
- Headache, nasal obstruction, stiff neck.
- Pain in shoulder and back, sore throat, dizziness/vertigo, neurasthenia, infantile convulsions, epilepsy, common cold, eye disorders, excessive lacrimation.
- Epistaxis, hypertension, insomnia, angina pectoris, fever, diarrhea, loss of control of internal organ functions, hemiplegia, limbs weak cannot support the body.
Functions:
Expels Wind, activates the meridian, soothes the sinews, benefits the head, alleviates pain, opens the sense orifices.
Needling:
Perpendicular or oblique insertion .5 - .8 cun. Do not insert the needle deeply medially upwards to avoid injuring the medulla oblongata.
