A 15-member delegation of Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine left for China on April 06, 2019. The 2 weeks study tour is led by The National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China, the Sino North American Partnership for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the TCM appropriate Technology Promotion Base of Canada.

They began their trip in Beijing. The first day saw the group visit Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Dongzhimen Hospital Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the Museum of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Wanfang Data Co., LTD. They visited classes and toured the campus of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine; observed treatments and spent time in the herbal dispensary in Dongzhimen Hospital Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Seeing Wanfang Data Co., LTD was a great opportunity to understand the connection of modern high technology with traditional Chinese medicine.
